Tickets

Rain or shine event, no refunds.

What is the difference between a single-day and a 2-day ticket?
A single-day ticket is valid for one person to attend one day, either Friday or Saturday. You will need to choose a specific day at the time of purchase. A 2-day ticket is valid for one person to attend both days of the event.

How do I purchase tickets?
Tickets are sold through: https://www.etix.com/ticket/v/14387/basilica-block-party.

Tickets purchased through any other vendor are not valid.

Is there an age limit for the festival?

There is not an age requirement. All minors must be accompanied by an adult. Children 8 and under are free for General Admission only when accompanied by an adult. Everyone in FanZone and VIP, regardless of age, must have a ticket for that area.

When do the tickets go on-sale?

Tickets will be available starting at 10AM, Friday, March 22nd, 2024.

What are the ticket prices?

I already have tickets, can I upgrade to any other tickets?
Unfortunately, we do not offer any type of ticket upgrades or exchanges.
Where do I pick up my Tickets?
Download tickets from the ETIX email/link you received when you ordered.

Wristbands

Is re-entry allowed?

Yes, with a wristband. No wristband, no re-entry. No exceptions.

Where will I get my wristband?

A wristband station will be located upon entrance to the venue. Wristbands will be applied to the guest. Paper tickets will be forfeited upon entry. See the map (available on the website closer to the event) for entry points.

I accidentally lost, or damaged my wristband, what should I do?

Any damaged or tampered with wristbands will not be allowed access.

I cannot use one day of my 2-day pass, can I share my pass/wristband with a friend?

No. You will receive one (1) wristband per 2-day pass. The wristband must be worn by the same person for the duration of the event. Passes/wristbands are non-transferrable or shareable between days/people.

What time will the box office/will call open?

The venue box office opening hours will be posted on this website before the event.

What time do the doors/gates open?

Doors open at 12PM each day.

Accessibility

 

The Venue

  • The event is held at an outdoor park. There are various types of terrain throughout the venue which includes grass, concrete sidewalks, and dirt walk paths.
  • Plan accordingly as there are some distances to be covered to get to all of the areas and stages on the site, and as with any natural terrain, rain can impact the conditions.
  • Weather in August is typically hot! Weather can change at any time. Please pack accordingly.

ADA Access information upon arrival

  • There will be an ADA Access information available at both entrances to the venue at the Info Desk.  This is where ADA patrons can get information and request services.

ADA Accessible Viewing Area

  • A separate ticket is available in the store for this section.
  • See the event layout map (click here) for the location.
  • There will be an accessible viewing area within the venue for guests, who use wheelchairs, have significant mobility disabilities, or who have difficulty standing for long periods of time.
  • Staff will manage the viewing area accordingly to make sure all patrons are comfortable.

Can I smoke in the venue?
The use of tobacco products, including electronic delivery devices, on Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board lands and in Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board owned and/or operated facilities is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to,  playgrounds, athletic fields, beaches, aquatic areas, lakes and rivers, ice skating rinks, parks, walking/hiking/biking trails, restaurants, maintenance support facilities, the MPRB Headquarters, golf courses, and temporary work zones such as the street right-of-way among others. Can I bring in my own chair?

For general admission, yes. No chairs allowed in FanZone or VIP.

Can I bring in outside food and beverage?

No.  Outside food or beverages are not allowed in the venue.

Can I tailgate?

No.

Is there a camera policy for event goers?

Small cameras and cell phones are welcome. Professional cameras, video cameras, drones and any other type of professional recording equipment is strictly prohibited. The equipment may be confiscated, and the user will be removed from the event, without any refund.

What is your bag policy?

All bags are searched. No oversized bags, no backpacks, and no umbrellas. Check the website a couple weeks before the event for a list of what is and is not allowed.
