Directions & Parking Information
Due to recent news that northbound and southbound I-35W will be closed between I-94 and Highway 62 beginning Friday, July 11 at 5 p.m. through the weekend, please use the Minnesota Department of Transportation’s recommendations for travel to the Block Party:
Southbound detour:
- From downtown Minneapolis, use 12th Street South to 4th Avenue ramp to I-94
- Westbound I-94, stay on I-94 to westbound I-394 to southbound Highway 100
- Eastbound I-94, take westbound I-394 to southbound Highway 100
- Southbound Highway 100, stay on Highway 100
- Westbound I-494 to northbound Highway 100
- Eastbound I-494 to northbound Highway 100
- Westbound Highway 62 to northbound Highway 100
- Eastbound Highway 62 to northbound Highway 100
Plan ahead and get to the Block Party at 5 p.m. to catch an acoustic set by local favorite Tim Mahoney. If you’re among the first 1,000 partygoers, you’ll also receive two food and beverage tickets on us!
